Clary Homes (“Clary Homes”, “we”, “us”) designs and builds outdoor living spaces in San Diego County, California. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use claryhomes.com or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our forms, our phone and text communications, and the information we collect while quoting and running a project.

Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in a form, call, text, email or book a consultation, we collect what you provide: your name, phone number, email address, property address or ZIP code, details about your yard and the project you have in mind, and anything else you choose to tell us. If you proceed to a design or a contract, we also collect the information needed to draw, permit and build the project, including site measurements, photos of your property and payment details.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our tools record your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, and how you interact with it. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies described below.
Information from other sources. We may receive information about you from advertising platforms (for example, that you clicked one of our ads), from financing partners if you apply for financing through us, and from public property records when preparing a design or permit.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, schedule a consultation and prepare a quote or design
- To plan, permit, build and follow up on your project
- To send you information about your project, and, if you agree, occasional updates about our services and offers
- To measure how our website and advertising perform and to improve them
- To show you our advertising on other platforms, based on your visit to our site
- To keep records, resolve disputes, comply with the law and protect our business
Cookies and tracking
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies from the following services. A cookie banner is shown on your first visit and you can change your choices there at any time.
- HubSpot, which powers our forms, cookie banner and website analytics, and stores your enquiry in our customer records
- Google Analytics, which reports how visitors use the site
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel, which measures our advertising and may be used to show you our ads on Meta platforms
- Jetpack (WordPress.com), which provides site statistics and security
- YouTube, when you play an embedded video
You can also block cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may stop some parts of the site from working, including forms.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who run our website, forms, email, analytics and advertising (including HubSpot, Google, Meta and WordPress.com), under agreements that limit what they can do with it
- Contractors and suppliers who work on your project, to the extent they need your details to do so
- Financing partners, only if you ask to apply for financing, and only the information needed for the application
- Permitting authorities, when a permit is required for your project
- Legal and professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it
- A buyer or successor, if Clary Homes is sold or merged
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your enquiry or project. By providing your number you agree to receive those messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or tell us by phone or email. We do not send marketing texts without your separate agreement.
Your choices
- Marketing emails: every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Project and service emails will continue while your project is active.
- Cookies: change your preferences in the cookie banner or your browser.
- Advertising: you can adjust ad settings in your Google and Meta accounts.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it and who we shared it with
- Receive a copy of that information
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for cross-context advertising. We do not sell personal information. To opt out of sharing for advertising purposes, adjust your cookie choices in the banner or contact us.
- Not be treated differently for exercising these rights
To make a request, email sales@claryhomes.com or call (858) 201-8620. We will need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, usually by matching the details you provide against the information we hold. You may authorise someone to make a request for you; we will ask for proof of that authority. We aim to respond within 45 days.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we are in contact about a possible project and for a reasonable period afterwards. Project records, contracts, designs and payment records are kept for as long as the law requires, which for construction work in California can be up to ten years after completion. Website analytics data is kept according to each provider’s default settings.
Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Our site links to other websites, including social media and financing partners. This policy does not cover those sites; check their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
